Hearts of Gold would like to send a huge THANK YOU to its supporters for making the summer earthquake relief fundraisers such a huge success! Thanks to you, $7,394.61 will be distributed to the Saman Project in Canoa, the Olon orphanage, and El Arenal.
Hearts of Gold could not do what it does without the help of passionate volunteers and our events are a shining example of volunteer power in action. Another huge thank you is in order for all the amazing volunteers that make these events, a true labor of love, a reality. We would also like to send a special thank you to Mary Johnston and Steve Rattle, who hosted our premiere fundraiser event in Salinas. We are grateful for your heartfelt generosity and your willingness to open your home to the Hearts of Gold community.
In keeping with the good news we are excited to announce the date for Hearts of Gold’s 5th annual Christmas Gala. This can’t-be-missed Cuenca event, which has been voted by Gringo Post readers as Best Charity Event three years in a row, is happening this year on Thursday, December 1!
